Saturday March 14, 2009

Quiet day today the place shuts down completely on the weekend. Seems allot of people go home or out on weekends so probably a great time to visit.
The weekdays are so busy and tiring there would not be a great deal of visiting time even though most staff are very obliging.
Chris is catching up on sleep as it was a very lazy day.
I will be picking Shelley up tomorrow morning and heading down for the day with him. It is supposed to snow again in the morning and it is a little below freezing -4 to -7 so icy and takes a while to warm up.
We sat in the sunshine today for awhile even though it was only 7 degrees it felt it was 20 in the sun.
Dr Gray takes over on Monday so it will be our first meeting in person either Monday or Tuesday I will keep you updated the best I can.
Thank you for checking, better yet thank you for caring.
Kevin

Glad to hear Chris will get better attention at this new hospital. Chris and his family are in our families prayers. I have another friend who was also in a very serious car accident just days before Chris was in his and he is also still in a coma but fighting hard to get out of it. Heres hoping Chris can make a quick recovery with the new drs and hospitals he is in!

Lazy days are ok, especially after all the action this week!...Must be a weird for Chris to have all this newness....ambulance, plane, new room, new staff, new activities, and just all round more busy-ness. Would love to know what he is thinking about all of this.
We went to Collective Soul tonight with Maureen and Kris Bjornerud....they send their heartfelt wishes for Chris's wellbeing and improvement.
Thinking of you all.....K

We are liking the sounds of Halvor Jonson Centre already.!! Keep up the good work Kevin and Christopher; use the weekend to rest up and re-group for the coming week. Will be nice for Christopher to have his Mom, Shelley & Kylan & the familiar voices there over the weekend and next few days. Thinking of you all; Love,
