Late Friday night

Dr R today said the ministry phoned and now wants a tele conference with the docs in Ponoka, myself and mention of Dr Jaworski because his name showed up somewhere in the original paper work, I think the social worker forgot to remove it when she sent the original request for me.

Man the cards just keep being stacked.

That Jaworski wouldn't talk to me or discuss anything going way back to the beginning ay SMH, what are the chances of him giving something constructive. He originally spoke against Chris going to rehab at all.

The good things are Chris is still doing great and the equipment trials are working out fine. Its late and I am beat waiting for a delayed flight.
So I will keep it posted as it occurs.
Thanks so very much for those of you who sat down and wrote today it will have an impact.

I remain confident that after careful consideration, our Minister of Health Services, Hon. Kevin Falcon, will approve an extension for Chris at HJCBI. He and the bureaucrats must ask themselves, "If it were my son...?"

The Ministry wanting a teleconference with the doctors at HJCBI, here, and you is of course another stalling tactic. They have ALL the required information to make a reasonable, informed, and sympathetic decision!

Cheers to Chris and you!

Love,
Larry

Right on, Uncle Larry !!... they have MORE than sufficient info to justify spending the money to carry on, in view of: a)the progress being made by Christopher and b)the small difference in the cost, if he were to be brought home to B.C.
Not only that; if he were brought home right now, there would be No Facility that could give him anywhere near the Care, Therapy, or Rehab.!
Pity ... maybe such a Brain Injury will be built here in B.C. out of that $14 Billion Healthcare Budget, advertised on Health Minister Falcon's website.
Good swimming etc. in the pool Mon/Tues/Wed Christopher and Kevin! Give your Dad a workout, Chris; he is getting a little chubby, from not enough ice time. (Starting to look more like a Bigelow, though.!??)
We miss being able to go and visit you, Christopher, but we are so happy and pleased for you, at the headway you have been making in Alberta, towards your recovery these last few months.
Love, Hugs, and Merry Christmas from Uncle Pat, Auntie Janet, Carl and Julie.

Hi Kevin, Would you please post which office of the Min of Health that is in charge of making the decision to extend Chris' stay at HJCBI? And if you have a specific name, please post also. Thanks.
Sending my Love and words of encouragement to Chris. Please tell him to focus on the great work he is doing. (We'll take care of the bureaucrats for him!)
Love,
Auntie Janie

Kevin: I have asked my mom (published author and former BC gov't beauro-person) if she would create a template for people wanting to write, but not sure how to get the letter going so as it is personal. If people's letters would show up around the Jan 5 airing, would be great.

I want to wish the Bigelows and their friends/supporters a Merry Christmas.
