Hello,
Sorry for the delay in posting but my week was cut short here in Ponoka with the birth of my granddaughter and Chris' niece.
Chris has had a pretty mild week with the typical therapies going on. The water therapy apparently didn't happen because I was not here, so I guess I am really going to have to push the access issues this week.
Still waiting for the OT to deliver the cycle machine that we can use to get his legs and arms moving on a regular basis. Chris has been pretty tired all weekend and and slept most of it other than watching hockey, walking the hall ways and skipping outside for 5 minute intervals to be refreshed by the snow and wind in our face.
More updates after the new week gets rolling.
Thank you
Kevin

Congratulations on the arrival of little Gwen! Cant wait to meet her!
Hard to believe you are still braving snow and nasty coldness there, now that we are finally starting to see some sunshine and flowers here! Ugghhh, how can people stand to live in such prolonged winter conditions? Must have lots of winter sports and activities to keep their minds off the cold.
Sounds like you will have to be the main guy for ensuring that aquatherapy is incorporated into Chris's regime. It seems like it is just not something they are accustomed to, and if they are not familiar with what to do to get the results that Joyce and her daughter were seeing, I am not surprised that they are not taking Chris into the water without you there for help and consultation (especially if they don't have proper equipment to get him into the pool....which seems unusual for a rehab facility, but who knows?)
Please give our love to Chris, and thanks for the updates!
K, J and family
