Hi all,
I got a copy of a fax to Dr Diggle giving us 1 month extension, which with all the confusion and not talking, have decided to reword it all again into even more propaganda . Now making it Dr. D's responsibility to bring him home to what???????????.
Again no answers. Will fill in later got to get on the phone, put my life on hold and drop everything that I was currently working on with the government. They just keep me running in circles so no one catches on to the spin they are doing to avoid the situation at hand. They think they can make black look bright red and white look bright yellow if they delay and keep throwing paper at it and plead ignorance.
No wonder government cost so much and is so ineffective, what a waste of my precious time with Christopher!

More smoke & mirrors to hide the lies .... Falcon's office and the Health Ministry said they would follow the advice of the Healthcare Professionals in B.C. and Alberta. They have disregarded what Alberta told them entirely, not spoken to them, disregarded the B.C. Doctor's recommendation, and are putting him up to doing their dirty work.
They have said that the Doctor and the Family have a lot of work to do, in order to prepare for Christopher to come home, but have given No Particulars what it is they expect to be done, or where he might go, in order to receive the care, therapy and rehab he is now receiving in Alberta.
It would seem they have a one-track mind, and that is Extended Care. This decision was not communicated to Kevin, or the Halvar Jonson Centre in Alberta, but given to the B.C. Doctor to advise everybody, however they were kind enough to copy ICBC's lawyer with the information. Breach of confidentiality here, or what..!!???
Still no response from the Health Ministry, or other elected officials, to my request for the name, or where this "similar facility in B.C.", to which they refer, is located. Must be a huge secret; we know of none.....
Absolutely ridiculous; time to get the Media jumping all over this, I do believe.

I am surprised, sorely disappointed and angry.
It seems that finding a place for Chris has been delegated, via Dr. Diggle, to Surrey Memorial and Fraser Health. And here we go again!
I would like to read the Minister's letter to Dr. Diggle, which was NOT copied to Kevin!
We certainly have to keep up the pressure on the Minister and Ministry (hopefully with the cooperation of the media) to try and keep them responsible for everything that Chris and we are about to endure. We must keep the Minister and Ministry, as well as the other MLAs, constantly aware of as many details as possible of Chris' care, journey home, and placement in whatever temporary facility Fraser Health may find, and with video camera footage.
It is a damn shame that Chris cannot remain at HJCBI!
